Service Communications

All 1 Year Warranty communications should be directed to One World Technologies, Inc., attn.: RIDGID Heated Gear Service Dept. or call (toll free) 1‒866‒539‒1710.

Additional Limitations

Acceptance of the exclusive repair and replacement remedies described herein is a condition of the contract for the purchase of every RIDGID heated gear product.

Details of this limited warranty are subject to change without notice. If you do not agree to this condition, you should not purchase the product. In no event shall RIDGID be liable for any incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any costs, attorney fees, expenses, losses or delays alleged to be as a consequence of any damage to, failure of, or defect in any product including, but not limited to, any claims for loss of profits. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

3-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

All RIDGID ® Brand Hand Held Power Tools, Stationary Power Tools, and Pneumatic Tools are automatically covered under a 3-year Limited Warranty.

All RIDGID ® Brand Hand Held Power Tools, Stationary Power Tools, and Pneumatic Tools are automatically covered under a 3-year Limited Warranty.

This 3-Year Limited Warranty begins from the date of purchase shown by a valid receipt. If a valid receipt is not available, the 3-year limited warranty period begins from the date of manufacture on originally purchased equipment. For batteries and chargers, sold with a combo kit, origin of the battery or charger and warranty status must be verified by comparing the serial numbers of a tool console from the kit with the serial number of the battery or charger. All components sold within a kit will have serial numbers dated within 12 weeks of each other. if the battery/charger serial code differs from tool console more than 12 weeks, the origin of the battery/charger cannot be verified.

Note that the service of some products, including, but not limited to, all accessory batteries and chargers, radios, and flashlights must have a receipt to verify warranty status since these items are not sold with a tool console in a kit.

What is Covered? The 3-Year Limited Warranty covers all defects and many wear parts in properly maintained tools.

This includes normal wear items such as brushes, chucks, motors, switches, gears and even cordless batteries in your qualifying RIDGID ® Brand hand held and stationary power tools. This program also covers replacement rings, driver blades and bumpers on RIDGID ® Brand pneumatic tools. This service coverage does not apply to other ineligible RIDGID ® Brand products.

What is Not Covered?

The 3-Year Limited Warranty does not cover any malfunction, failure or defect resulting from misuse, abuse, alteration, or repair by anyone other than an authorized service center.

Any damage or malfunction inflicted upon the tool by the user or other external sources, or any failure to comply with the warnings and instructions in the operator’s manual is not covered. Consumable accessories provided with the tool such as, but not limited to, saw blades, planer blades and knives, insert bits, drill bits, grinding wheels and discs, cut off wheels, sandpaper, safety glasses and fasteners are not covered.

How to Obtain Service

Service is ONLY obtainable at authorized RIDGID ® service centers during respective warranty periods.

You may obtain the location of the authorized service center nearest you by logging on to the RIDGID ® website at www.RIDGID.com. If a cordless tool kit requires a battery/charger replacement, the tool console, battery and charger purchased together must be present for proper diagnosis and warranty verification.

Replacements

If a serialized piece of equipment without LSA status is ever replaced, the 3-year limited warranty period on the replacement piece of equipment starts from the original date of purchase, not the date of replacement.

Note that for this same reason, the serial code of a replacement piece of equipment cannot be used to verify warranty. Proof of replacement will be required for warranty verification.

For batteries and chargers sold as part of a kit, the tool serial code must be used to verify warranty, NOT the battery/charger serial code. All components sold within a kit will have serial numbers dated within 12 weeks of each other. if the battery/charger serial code differs from tool console more than 12 weeks, the origin of the battery/charger cannot be verified. Proof of replacement is required to verify origin and warranty status or any previously replaced components.

Note that the replacement of some products, including, but not limited to, all accessory batteries and chargers, radios, and flashlights must have a receipt to verify warranty status since these items are not sold with a tool console in a kit.
